The Transport Research Arena CANCELED
Welcome to Helsinki and TRA2020!
The foremost transport event covering all modes of transport, The Transport Research Arena, will take place in Helsinki on 27–30 April 2020.
Under the theme “Rethinking transport – towards clean and inclusive mobility” TRA2020 will focus on the massive transformation that transport sector and industry are undergoing. This transformation covers every single aspect of mobility from the way we book our journeys to the value proposition of transport assets, enabled and fuelled by digital technologies, leading towards measures against climate change and increased European competitiveness.
TRA 2020 offers the right moment to think together how, with digital technologies, we can shape and direct this transformation to respond to the demands. Providing an excellent opportunity for researchers, industry, public administrations and policy-makers to discuss major challenges and opportunities we are facing, TRA gathers biannually over 3,000 attendees from all round Europe and the world.
The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications will host the conference and it is organised by the Finnish Transport Safety Agency Trafi, the Finnish Transport Agency, Business Finland and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, with the support and in collaboration with the European Commission.
