The board of Finnish Marine Industries accepted I.S. Mäkinen, MAN, The Switch, FAKE, IDC Global Services and SRC Cruise & Ferry as members 25.10.2017.

MAKINEN is an internationally recognized turn-key contractor for the Marine and Hotel industries. MAKINEN services include building new and refurbishing existing cabins, wet units and public spaces. MAKINEN was founded in 1992 and it has carried out over 5000 projects for the most significant cruise lines, shipyards and hotel chains.
The company uses LEAN-approach in all projects, eliminating waste of resources and time, providing quality, safety, on-time reporting and full project visibility to its customers. MAKINEN provides global interior life-cycle support from its three offices in Finland, USA and China.
The Switch Engineering oy
The Switch is advancing the world of electrical drive trains in marine. In 2016, the company acquired Wärtsilä’s marine drives business encompassing megawatt-class power drives.
