Wärtsilä & COSCO Shipping Specialized Carrier extend their cooperation with shipping and logistics agreement
The technology group Wärtsilä and COSCO Shipping Specialized Carrier Co., Ltd (COSCO SSC) have signed a framework agreement for strategic cooperation in establishing a comprehensive partnership in shipping and logistics. The agreement was signed in Guangzhou, China on 2nd September, 2020.
By combining the experience, expertise and competence of the two companies, both of whom hold strong positions in the marine market, this partnership will create synergistic advantages that will support their core businesses. The two parties will also further deepen their cooperation in smart technology, marine power, systems, voyage optimisation, and complete lifecycle solutions. .

COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers, part of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, operates a fleet of more than 100 vessels, including multi-purpose and heavy lift vessels, semi-submersible vessels, pure car carriers, log carriers, as well as asphalt carriers.
