Fires in Alternatively Powered Vehicles onboard Ships
Fire incidents on ro-ro ships have serious consequences for crew, passengers, cargo, and are not showing signs of diminishing. There is a call for better prevention and management of fires.
In this webinar, the partners of the EU-funded LASH FIRE project will present the research done within the project.
The program will be complemented by guest contributions from the German project Albero, which is dedicated to investigate the safe transport of APVs on ro-ro ferries, and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
