Ecosystem leader for autonomous ships ecosystem

DIMECC will boost the competitiveness of marine businesses with many ambitious new initiatives. The first ever autonomous ships will sail in the Baltic Sea by 2025. We are now looking for an experienced professional for a challenging position to lead the world’s first autonomous ships ecosystem.

ECOSYSTEM LEADER

The Ecosystem Leader is responsible for foresight, roadmapping, and preparation and implementation of the ecosystem’s activities. The Ecosystem Leader’s tasks include

  1. facilitating the new digital business co-creation,
  2. converging the divergent discussions of the wide network to form a unique agenda in which all types of organisations have been invited to contribute, and
  3. setting the goals, defining the activities, and achieving the targets.

Ambitious goals and “scoring the goal” is important, activities and projects take place only in order to get autonomous ships to sail before 2025.

The Ecosystem Leader is expected to have experience in the maritime industry development environment, in management of national and international programs, and in new business creation. International experience in industrial and business development networks and good negotiation and communication skills are needed.

The position offers a unique challenge to an individual who is motivated by stretching targets. It requires the ability to manage risks in significant change programs, to give space to new breakthrough digital innovations, and to manage time and budget constraints.
